Coastal Couple's Session

It's easy to be scared by a forecast for cloud coverage. Let this post of a recent shoot on at the quintissential New England coastal town of Marblehead MA show you just how wonderful clouds can actually be. The benefit of a cloudy day for photos means:

1. You don't have to squint! It's easier on the eyes.

2. It's also very nice for depicting skin tone.

3. In the summer, it helps with temperature control - aka less sweating or worrying about sweating.

4. It adds a level of artsy moodiness.

5. It deters crowds, so less people to edit out of the photos or dodge during the session.

Polina posted on a local town facebook group looking for a photographer to do a couples shoot of her and her boyfriend, Griff, to celebrate their 5 year anniversary. Thank you to a former client of mine for tagging and referring me! I submitted examples of my work to Polina and she chose me to work with out of 10s of other photographers! We had a fantastic time at Devereaux Beach playing around in the moody evening fog.
